Teaching and Mentorship by Experts and Distinguished Faculty
VARNIM Training & Transformation is committed to bringing about a total transformation in the personality of the students, make them job-ready, and place them in respectable jobs. All of this is done through rigorous practice by distinguished teachers and subject experts who not only train them with passion but also do mentor the students’ career.
Double Industrial Penetration for Job Readiness
VARNIM offers a unique internship program and industrial exposure for fostering job-readiness in our students. The first phase of this training program is carried out by sending students to different industries and companies and orienting them to the culture and working of the professional world. Spread over 3 months, the internship enables our students to get the flair of working for 3 months (depending on the course module opted) in a professional set-up.
On their return from the industrial internship, they are provided with an additional 2 month (depending on the course module opted) job specific training. The dual industrial exposure helps incumbents adapt to the work culture of a professional organization efficiently and hone their skills in consonance with the requirements of specific jobs.
Interactive Sessions
Driven by a dynamic and democratic leadership style, the ambience at VARNIM encourages innovative thinking and creative execution of ideas. Therefore, all classes and training sessions are participative and interactive in nature. Participation in class activities is not just desirable but also mandatory at VARNIM.
Personal Bonding and Warmth
The faculty, trainers and administrators at VARNIM are first and foremost talent, perceptive, and committed human beings. All of the them take it upon themselves to ensure that the young lives in their hands are sculpted with care, warmth, and personal attention.
Individual Attention and Mentorship
Each student at VARNIM is a very special individual for us and we know that without working individually on them, a transformation in personality will just be a dream. Purposefully therefore, all the teaching and training sessions at VARNIM are thinly populated as the sample size of classes at VARNIM is in 20s but never beyond 25.
Multiple Opportunities to Perform
All training requires rigor, focus, and commitment to perform. It is so because transformation is not possible just by listening to others, but by trying and doing it ourselves. The teaching methodology adopted at VARNIM therefore involves not just attentive listening, but also repeated attempts to perform in front of others. At VARNIM, students are necessarily required to participate and perform in various class-room activities such as anchoring, speech making, debates, oral presentation, group discussion, job interviews, short conversations. Besides such oral components, they are also required to take written assignments on English grammar and usage, vocabulary, paragraph writing, theme writing, essay writing, précis writing, project reports writing, email writing, letter writing, etc. All such activities are meant to develop in students confidence in speaking, writing, and knowledge sharing.
Analysis through Recording of Students’ Performance
All the performances of students are recorded and played to them so that they can spot their own weaknesses and work on them by trying to do better and better.
Continuous Evaluation
Though VARNIM discourages branding through examination, its teaching and training methodology involves continuous evaluation through different oral and written assignments, meant to bring about a transformation in the personality and performance of students.
Feedback and Self-Reflection
Bringing about a transformation in personality and performance is a gradual process which cannot be achieved without proper guidance, astute mentorship and objective self-reflection. So, students at VARNIM are not expected to perform flawlessly every time they participate in an activity, put-up a performance, or take a test. Instead, they are encouraged to identify the chinks in their armours and work on them with dedication, commitment, and focus.
Teaching through Audio-Visual Aids, Pictures, Graphs, Movies, Matches, etc.
Since the impact of what we both watch and listen to is much more than what we just listen to, all teaching and training sessions extensively employ audio-visual aids such as slides, pictures, graphs, speeches, group discussions, debates, job-interviews, matches, documentaries, and movies.
